The Stunning Neues Museum in Berlin

The New Museum (or Neues Museum in German) is a stunning space that houses an impressive collection of Egyptian, classical, and prehistoric artifacts (including the 3,300 year old iconic limestone bust of Queen Nefertiti).

It was redeveloped and reopened in 2009 after being closed for decades due to heavy damage during World War II and the bombing of Berlin. Built in a neoclassical style, the gorgeous interior provides an awe inspiring backdrop to the magnificent collection of relics it houses.
